How many more times am I gonna have to kick myself for not putting an answer that my gut tells me is right even if my head is screaming it's wrong! Could-a-should-a-would-a had Pitch Black!!! GGGaaaaahhh! Dead chuffed to have gotten Daylight though. :)

Yeah, my first 20-pointer!! I'm glad my wife is a big fan of Viggo Mortensen, would never have taken Vanishing Point if she hadn't made me see that movie a month ago

A friend of mine said he recognized the girl from Where the truth lies, the reason I discarded The Big White was because it didn't look like it was out on dvd. My bad I guess. I've never seen the old Vanishing Point, but I guess seeing the one with Viggo was plenty.

Yeah, I recognised Alison Lohman right away, but couldn't find any matches. After eliminating every other film she's ever been in I finally resorted to The Big White and found a match, even though I didn't think it was available on DVD yet. Also, on #1, my first reaction was Lord of the Flies. Nice to see I'm not the only one!

I thought about The Big White for #5, but I saw it had not come on DVD yet, and I didnt put it in. White Oleander looked like it could be right, based on some other screenshots I saw from that movie. Oh well. As for Vanishing Point I never heard of it.

I, too, recognized Alison Lohman, and ended up guessing Where The Truth Lies because IMDb said The Big White wasn't out on DVD yet. Even Amazon says it won't be available until June 13th. I even checked Amazon Denmark! Mr. Baptizer, what magical powers did you use to get the shot?

I used the magical powers of the Scandinavian region 2 :) Scanbox released it over here back i marts. I didn't notice the rest of the world apparently had to wait longer for this release, it's usually the other way around.

I got Vanishing Point, not from the movie, but from an Audioslave music video which was based on it...fist and only time Kerrang is ever likely to help with this quiz :)

What is this magical Scandinavian region 2? Please remember that I am an American and we don't know world geography too well. We think that Sweden and Switzerland are the same thing, as are Norway and The Netherlands. We think Finland is a big aquarium, like Seaworld. And if you ask us about Denmark we'll probably say somehting like, "Um... Denmark. Uh... Hamlet, right?" :-)

But if you say Finland to a European right now, we respond "Hard Rock Halliluja!" :D Scandinavia is a kind of sub-region in the european region 2. I dont know why but I guess the movie only was released to very few cinemas over here and then instead got an early DVD release. btw DVD regions is something spawned by the devil or the mpaa ;)

Steve.. Im an American too and I got straight A's in Geography, at least knowning where the places are, hehe. I can't get upset with a early relase movie like that, Bapitzer is doing his best here. If we start getting them all right, he will make the screenshots even harder, then they already are.

Pretzel - I'm not critizing the Baptizer. If he got the shot off a DVD, then it must be available somewhere in the world. In fact, I was very grateful for that shot as it gave me a recognizable face and an actress I knew (even if I messed up and got it wrong anyway). Most of the time the Baptizer tortures us with wide shots of aliens, monsters, and weapons with no human faces to latch on to. On that same subject, I thought it was pretty interesting that 183 people managed to recognize Kristanna Loken in T3 from a shot of her bust alone. :-)

Still on #5, I was sure I'd be able to Google "WORKING SHHHHH" but I just got pages of people's blogs confessing that they weren't doing what they were supposed to. You know, like I'm doing now -- looking at movie quizzes instead of working, SHHHHH! :-)

Daylight was the toughest for me... I couldn't think of any other movie in a tunnel but I couldn't remember the movie since I watched it a decade ago (waaaay before I found screenshot quizzes and watched films with a memorizing eye). It took me a while to find that actor and find pics of him from other movies to confirm my hunch. From all the Lohman searching, I found Big White to sound interesting and added it to my queue.
